Thank you for your interest in participating in our research studies. As a participant, you can help Workday make our current and future products, features and experiences even better by providing us with your opinions and feedback. 

By completing and submitting this form, you are consenting to be contacted by a member of Workday UX Design and may be invited to take part in a study. As part of these studies, we may ask for your feedback in a variety of ways including through surveys and interviews with Workday personnel, at Workday facilities, your place or work or remotely. Your decision to participate is purely voluntary and you may withdraw your name from the list at any time.

Workday Research Interview Terms

  1. Confidentiality. You agree that Your Interview participation and all information provided to You related to the Purpose is confidential information (“Confidential Information”). You understand that such information is proprietary to Workday and You agree not to disclose any of this Confidential Information to anyone outside of the Interview. 
  2. Representations and Warranties. You represent, warrant, and covenant that You/Your: (i) are at least 18 years of age; (ii) understand that adding Your information to the Contact List or Your participation in any Interview is completely voluntary; (iii) will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws; (iv) registration  information and participation in any Interview(s) will not violate any agreement between You and any third party; (v) will only provide registration information about Yourself; and (vi) will only answer questions in Interview(s) specific to Yourself and not about any other individual or third party. 
  3. Registration. Workday will include Your name and other registration information You provide in a list of contacts (“Contact List”). The Contact List will be used to evaluate and match participants for Workday conducted interviews related to the Purpose (each, an “Interview”). You may decline to participate in any such Interview at Your discretion and You may request that Workday remove Your information from the Contact List at any time by contacting uxresearch@workday.com
  4. Interview Process and Gifts. You understand that registration and any Interview participation is completely voluntary. You are not being paid to participate in any Interview, but Workday may provide You with a token of appreciation at its discretion. It is Your responsibility to decline such a gift and notify Workday if You cannot receive any such gift or token of appreciation for any reason including due to applicable law, employer policies, or other third party restriction. 
  5. Waiver. UNLESS SET FORTH HEREIN, YOU WAIVE ANY AND ALL RESIDUAL RIGHTS AND CLAIMS RELATED TO ANY SUCH INTERVIEW. You may decline to answer any of the questions asked during the Interview and You may end the Interview at any time. 
  6. Purpose. The purpose of this Interview is to understand expectations or preferences You may have on products, features, or functionality in order to assist Workday in researching and improving Workday’s products and services (“Purpose”). 
  7. Recording. You understand that the Interview(s) may be recorded. Workday will notify You if any recording will take place and You will have the opportunity to decline the recording and Interview. Your image and voice will be captured in the recordings. Workday may use the recording for internal development purposes and may share the recordings with Workday’s affiliates or subcontractors to facilitate these purposes.
  8. Warranties and Disclaimers. This website, registration, and Interviews ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER. OTHER THAN AS STATED HEREIN, WORKDAY MAKES NO GUARANTEE THAT THIS WEBSITE WILL OPERATE AS INTENDED, THAT YOU WILL BE CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE AN INTERVIEW, OR THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE ANY GIFTS FOR YOUR REGISTRATION OR INTERVIEW PARTICIPATION.  
  9. Intellectual Property. You hereby irrevocably grant and assign to Workday all ownership and intellectual property rights in and to all Feedback (defined below) that You may provide during any Interview. Workday has no obligation to use Feedback. You agree to execute any assignment of rights that may be required for Workday to establish, perfect, or protect any rights in Feedback. Should You fail to do so, Workday is hereby granted an irrevocable right and “power coupled with an interest” to act as Your attorney-in-fact to execute such documents. “Feedback” means Your responses, suggestions, recommendations, ideas, or other feedback provided during the Interview in any form. 
  10. Data Privacy. You agree to provide only accurate and up-to- date information about Yourself to the registration and during any Interview. You further agree to notify Workday in the event that any of Your information changes. Information provided will be handled in accordance with Workday’s Privacy Statement found at https://www.workday.com/en-us/privacy.html.
  11. Updates. Workday may update or terminate these Terms at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice. It is Your responsibility to check these terms and the Last Updated date regularly.
  12. Termination. Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate these Terms by sending an email to uxresearch@workday.com and Workday may terminate these Terms by removing Your information from the Contact List.
  13. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold Workday harmless from any and all loss, liability, claim, demand, or damages incurred or arising out of Your violation of these Terms.  You may not settle any third party claim on behalf of Workday without Workday’s prior written consent.
  14. Miscellaneous. These Terms govern any registration information You provide to Workday and Interview participation and constitute the entire legal agreement between You and Workday on this subject. All legal matters arising out of these Terms is governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of laws provisions and You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alameda County, California. You acknowledge that Workday may apply for injunctive remedies in any jurisdiction.
